Ahupe ghat is a pass that starts from Khopivali village in Konkan to Ahupe village in the ghats. The entire region of Bhimashankar is a trekking paradise and Ahupe ghat is no exception. With its mesmerizing views and lush green vicinity, Ahupe ghat is best visited in monsoons.

The initial trail starts through paddy fields and water streams which brings you to the foot of the mountains. There is a water stream which one will have to cross during the monsoons. The second half is a straight-up climb. Note, the trail would be tiring in humid weather as the wind is blocked by the mountain.

Head towards Murbad from Kalyan station via Bus/Private Vehicle

Board any S.T Bus from Kalyan bus depot heading towards Murbad. Buses are available at regular intervals. Private shared jeeps are also available for hire to Murbad from Kalyan.
